BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO

A selection of 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in estate-owned vineyards located on the south-easterly and south-westerly slopes of Montalcino, at altitudes ranging from 250 to 400 m MSL. The soils consist of sandy loam, with clay and Galestro marl. The wine ages for at least 24 months in 500-litre French oak tonneaux and 15/25-Hl Slavonian oak barrels, followed by a period of bottle aging. The wine has a deep ruby red color with garnet highlights and a broad, slightly spicy bouquet. On the palate, it is full, intense, smooth, and velvety, with sweet, elegant tannins.
